Marie Leung

Marie Leung Hei Tung is a Hong Kong–based emerging dance artist graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, specializing in ballet performance. Her stage experience includes works and collaborations with diverse choreographers such as Wubkje Kuindersma, Na-ye Kim, Leila McMillan, Julian Nicosia. Marie actively develops her contemporary practice through training opportunities, including a short program at the Sydney Dance Company and an exchange with SKKU (Sungkyunkwan University). She has also completed an internship and performed in Hong Kong Ballet’s production- Giselle.

Her achievements have been recognized through scholarships and awards, including the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund. Marie has her major studies on both Choreography and Pedagogy. She has choreographed original works
《360+1°》《The Parallel Room》 and publicly through choreographic workshops and Next Moves. Marie also contributes to the arts through teaching in the community and organised inclusive workshop “Move To…”.
